From 2007 through 2016 Kent Pederson was the owner operator of Iron Horse Industrial Supply company of Calgary, Alberta Canada. Kent created and built a client base from zero to $500,000 within the first five years. He played an active role in sales, marketing, business development and service and developed a profitable custom signage division. Kent is skilled in conflict resolution while securing increased sales and is proficient in website management, hardware installation, product delivery, and client relations. Kent is a certified WHMIS trainer.

For 10 years Kent was the owner of Redevelopment Construction Rental. He was responsible for sourcing and acquiring suitable duplexes for redevelopment/subdividing projects. At Redevelopment Kent hired and managed contractors, and managed projects including demolition, construction, and finishing. Kent managed the building projects from the ground up including plans, permits, and improvements to the properties. Kent also managed the advertising and interviewing of potential tenants for long term lease and handled crisis management with urgent deadlines and situations.

Kent has been married to his wife Lisa for 28 years and he enjoys riding motorcycles, traveling, and serving others through hospitality, marriage ministry, and fellowship. Kent has three adult Christian children who are following the Lord and serving Him in Bible College, children and youth ministry, evangelism, and Bible Quizzing.

Kent is on the Leadership Team for the Marriage Course and the Love & Respect course at various churches and has been involved with the planning committee for the BC Homeschool Conventions for 3 years. Kent and his family assisted a lead Pastor with a team of 6 other families to plant a church in Calgary. His involvement included many aspects of church ministry. He was also a servant board member at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel and has been actively involved in men’s ministry.
